About our Handcrafted soaps
Our handmade/ handcrafted soaps are formulated to deliver the very best in skin care while using only safe, truly natural ingredients. We never use harmful synthetic chemicals, preservatives, artificial dyes, or synthetic fragrance oils. All of our soaps are made in small batches to ensure the quality of each batch. We hand stir, hand cut and hand wrap every bar. Every bar is given a long cure period so that when it reaches you it is mild and ready to use.. We hand-make many different varieties of soap. Every bar begins with a high percentage of cold pressed olive oil to which we add organic coconut, palm and castor, avocado, brazilian nut, almond and hazelnut , tea tree, and copaiba oils for a rich creamy lather that nourishes as it moisturizes. Next we add botanicals, butters, and cleansing earth clays for their exceptional skin care benefits. Finally, we scent our fragrant soaps with only pure essential oils extracted from plants . . .fresh clean scents, the way mother nature intended
We also use oils from Italy, Greece, and Spain, clays and flowers from Morocco and France, essential oils and butters from Africa, France, Austraila and Egypt.
Our handmade soap is made from scratch using only quality, all natural ingredients that include olive oil, palm kernel oil, coconut oil, castor oil , sweet almond oil, and lavender also a host of other extracts as natural preservative. You'll notice the naturally occurring glycerin in our handmade soap, but we go even further by adding Brazilian sweet almond oil for rich, nourishing moisture . Our soap is scented naturally with only luxurious essential oils or absolutes extracted from natural plant sources for skin healing benefits; we also add herbs,butters, spices and natural botanicals for exfoliating texture and natural coloring. Each bar of natural soap is hand-cut and hand packed.

103 Year Old Family of Natural Handcrafted Soap
Santa Lucia Murari Borba was a farmer's daughter from Murari's Borba, born in Italy 1904. She moved to Brazil in 1917 from her home in Toscany where she had to learn to make soap from scratch and essential oils from the plants out of necessity.
After years of making soap for her 13 children, her family finally convinced her to open a small soap shop in Sao Paulo Brazil where she made soaps with her family for 25 years, those soap recipes found there way to North Carolina last year when I went back to Brazil and asked grandmother for food recipes to bring back to NC. While looking through boxes of recipes we came across all her old soap and essential oil recipes.
